Yes, vitamins and nutrients taken orally are only partially absorbed via the bloodstream. Getting vitamins through the IV process is a direct route to the bloodstream and your cells for maximum absorption.
This will depend on each individual’s needs and treatments preferred. For best results, we recommend weekly or bi-monthly infusions with many of the treatments for example skin care and anti-aging. We suggest speaking to the Registered Nurse on site for what would be best for you and your needs.
Most of our IV drips take anywhere between 15-90 minutes. During this time you can relax, recline, read, listen to music on your headphones, and just take time for yourself and enjoy the benefits of vitamin therapy. You may experience a warming sensation in your arm, chest or abdomen when the IV is infusing as well as the sensation of tasting some of the vitamins and nutrients that are in the treatment.
Safety is important. And it helps to know about possible side effects. VITAMINDRIP® can cause side effects. Rarely reported side effects include: (Please note that these side effects are rare, and tend to resolve following cessation of the intravenous therapy.
  • Irritation in the vein, secondary to infusate’s effects on the circulatory system

Other important information: VITAMINDRIP® can temporarily restore hydration and energy. Individual results may vary. And it’s not right for everyone. Here are some other things you should know: Do not take VITAMINDRIP® if you:
  • Take any medicines called nitrates, often prescribed for chest pain, or guanylate cyclase stimulators like Adempas (riociguat) for pulmonary hypertension. Your blood pressure could drop to an unsafe level.
