About

Why we love dermal fillers

The Restylane portfolio of dermal fillers are designed to restore, enhance and refresh your skin’s youthful-looking appearance.

Who is suitable for dermal fillers

Restore a youthful-looking appearance by filling lines and wrinkles or adding volume to areas of the face such as the lips, chin, and/or cheeks.

How do dermal fillers work

The Restylane range of products is designed to act like your body’s own naturally produced hyaluronic acid. However, as we age, our bodies make less hyaluronic acid. The Restylane range utilizes two technologies to stabilize hyaluronic acid into a gel form. When injected, it adds volume to smooth wrinkles and enhances facial balance where needed.

Pain is very individualized and dependent on one’s tolerance to pain. For dermal filler procedures, we apply a numbing cream with temporary freezing ingredients. The filler syringes also contain the same temporary freezing ingredients so that most patients report that the discomfort was minimal. Lastly, we have a unique vibrating device that is able to effectively dull the sensation of the injections.
